On October 26, 2024, Good News Church in Tacoma, WA, hosted the "Go Together" Christian Parenting Conference, a powerful day of teaching, master classes, and fellowship designed to strengthen families in God's purpose for marriage and parenting.
The conference opened with Stanislav Gruntkovskii's first session, focusing on God's threefold purpose for marriage:
- Reflecting the Image of God: Marriages are called to communicate and care with Christ-like love.
- Multiplying God’s Image: Raising godly offspring is part of God’s design for family.
- Representing God’s Image: Husbands and wives are meant to complement each other uniquely.
Following the first session, attendees had the chance to participate in two impactful master classes:
- "Discovering Your Child’s Personality for Better Relationships" by Lily Slyusarchuk, who provided insights on understanding children's unique personalities to enhance family harmony.
- "7 Needs of a Child" by Olena Mukomol, a deep dive into nurturing children by addressing their essential needs for growth and security.
After a time of lunch and fellowship, Gruntkovskii continued with the message, "The Generational Family of God." He encouraged parents in their walk with Christ, reminding them of God's grace that renews us despite daily struggles with sin. Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, we are adopted into God's family and given the Spirit of sonship, who guides us in sanctification. Gruntkovskii also touched on the importance of spiritual communication in family life and addressed relevant challenges facing Christian families today.
The conference concluded with a Q&A session, where participants engaged with Gruntkovskii, asking questions and gaining further wisdom on family and faith.
